Third, you must properly set up and optimize your local search directories. Examples of local directories are Yelp, Manta, Foursquare, Merchant Circle, Yellowpages, Bing Business Portal, Yahoo Local and 100′s of others. This type of site has been around since the beginning of the internet and will help you get found locally. They are also an important indicator to Google and the other search engines that your site should be ranked above other chiros.
 
Video marketing is the fourth tip, and a very important one at that. Video marketing is free and effective, in fact prospects who come from watching your video are 6x more likely to buy from you. And by 2015, it is projected that 90% of internet traffic will be video. Videos rank very well, more easily than websites, so make sure you are using video marketing to your advantage.
 
Tip number 5 is paid advertising and includes using Facebook, Google, YouTube and more. Facebook PPC (Pay Per Click) is my absolute favorite form of all advertising and in my profession opinion the most powerful. Using paid advertising is leveraged and if done right is guaranteed to bring you results without spending lots of time.
 
One other thing to consider as a chiropractor is the potential that online marketing brings to your business. As a chiropractor, if you’re hands aren’t on a client you are not making money. Begin to use social media, SEO, and the internet in general to build a list of people who will buy products, training, or advice from you in the future.  Begin to leverage your time and build a residual income.
 
I highly recommend you hire a good social media manager to assist you with your marketing. As a former small business owner, I understand that your time is best spent working with people, not trying to figure out the internet, SEO, and social media.
